Regal Automobiles is launching an automatic variant of Prince Pearl in Pakistan next month, which will become the only vehicle in the 800cc category to offer an automatic transmission. The development has been confirmed by the company’s dealership in Islamabad. However, the price of Prince Pearl Automatic Variant is yet to be confirmed by the company, which will likely be unveiled on the launch day.

The Prince Pearl Automatic Variant is going to compete with Suzuki Alto AGS, but the vehicle is going to be priced much lower than its competition. This is going to be a much-appreciated entry into the local automotive sector as there has been a lack of automatic vehicles in this category.
Engine and Transmission
The automatic variant of Prince Pearl will carry the same 796cc engine, which is found in the manual transmission variant of the vehicle, but with an 3-speed automatic gearbox. The 3-cylinder engine is capable of producing 40 horsepower (hp) and 60 Newton metres (Nm) of Torque.
Features
The exact features for the Prince Pearl Automatic Variant are yet to be confirmed by the company, but it reasonable to assume that the automatic variant will carry over all the current features from the manual variant even if it doesn’t provide any additional ones.
The vehicle is expected to come with power windows, DRLs, a 9-inch LCD touchscreen, rearview camera, alloy-wheels and other similar features from the manual variant of the vehicle. The company might make the driver’s side airbag standard in the automatic variant, which is currently an option feature in the manual variant.
Prince Pearl Automatic Price in Pakistan
The expected price of Prince Pearl Automatic Variant in Pakistan is Rs. 1.5 million, which is reasonable considering the manual variant is priced at Rs. 1.3 million. This makes the automatic variant of the vehicle much cheaper than the Suzuki Alto AGS, which costs Rs. 1.74 million.
