Pakistan on Thursday defeated Australia (PAK vs AUS) by six wickets in the second ODI at the Gaddafi Stadium while chasing the team’s highest ODI target of 349 runs.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and opener Imam-ul-Haq made exceptional centuries, which were key for Pakistan’s success against Australia.
It is pertinent to mention that Australia had won the first ODI and the final ODI will be on Saturday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium as well.
Australia had set a target of 349 runs to win the match, and Pakistan chased the score in the 49th over to level the three-match series.
This was Pakistan’s highest run chase in their ODI history.
