Islamabad Authorities have banned Pillion Riding in the city on 2nd and 3rd April 2022 for security reasons as the Federal Capital remains on high alert in wake of the no-confidence vote, which is scheduled for 3rd April 2022 at the Parliament House.
“It has been brought into my notice that during National Assembly Session at the Parliament House, Islamabad on 03rd April, 2022, some pillion riders are likely to disrupt peace and tranquility of general public.” stated the notification issued by the District Magistrate Office. “In my there are sufficient grounds for proceeding u/s 144 Cr.PC 1898 to prohibit the use of Motorcycles for pillion riding to avoid any threat to public peace and tranquility within the revenue / territorial limits of Islamabad District.” the statement added.

It bears mentioning that Islamabad Authorities have also suspended the Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi and Islamabad ahead of the No-Trust Vote taking place on 3rd April 2022.
