PC Hotel Karachi Roof Collapsed, Two Dead, Several Injured

Two people died while several others were injured as the roof of Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel Karachi collapsed on Thursday night.

According to the details, the injured were moved to the civil hospital, while rescue operation continues at the site of the incident as it is feared that several other people are stuck under the rubble after the roof came down.

The roof collapsed while there was a function going on inside the one of the halls at PC Hotel Karachi. The collapse brought down large chunks of concrete along with iron rebars.

The police says that hotel management has sealed off all entry and exit points to the hotel as a precaution.

It is pertinent to mention that Pearl Continental (PC) is one of the top most hotels in the country with branches all across the country. The hotel is used by a big number of high-profile and foreign officials when they visit the country.

The incident is now trending on Twitter with people sharing videos of the collapsed roof at PC Hotel Karachi.\
