Telecom companies have once again increased the prices of calls and data packages while citing rise in inflation as the major reason behind the decision. According to the details, Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited (aka Ufone), Jazz, and Telenor have all increased their rates for different bundles and data packages.
Ufone
Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited (Ufone) has increased the prices for its calls and data packages while citing the rise in inflation as the major reason. The company also sent a message to its customers saying, “Dear customer, to maintain quality of services during ongoing rise in inflation, there will be changes in some of our offers.”

However, the price hike for UPower comes with additional resources in the form of 1,000 SMS in the All In One (Option 1) Variant, while Super Card Gold will offer an additional 100 Off-Net Minutes and 4GB Data (including 1GB FB and 1GB WA). It is pertinent to mention that new prices become effective from June 29.
Jazz
The company has also informed its customers about the hike in prices of several calls and data packages citing the rise in inflation as the main factor behind the decision. Jazz said that increase in the cost of doing business has led to the increase in rates for different bundles and packages.
