Islamabad Police have arrested an armed man while he was trying to enter Parade Ground during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally (Jalsa). According to the details, the armed person has been identified as Abdul Ghani, a worker from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Health Department.
The police said that a 30 bore pistol and 10 live rounds were recovered from his possession at the entry point into the PTI rally (Jalsa) being held at Parade Ground in Islamabad. Meanwhile, the police have arrested Abdul Ghani and an investigation has been launched into the matter.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is holding a public gathering at Islamabad’s Parade Ground today (Saturday) to protest against the rising inflation in the country. Furthermore, the PTI rally would be addressed by ex-Prime Minister and party chairman, Imran Khan.
The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has also issued a detailed traffic plan for commuters to avoid any inconvenience. Moreover, a parking plan has also been issued for PTI supporters wishing to join the protest / rally.
