The Government of Punjab has launched a shuttle service for citizens to get to the cattle markets if they want to buy sacrificial animals for Eid-ul-Azha 2022.
According to the details, the shuttle service will be operational from July 6 to July 9, allowing people of Punjab to commute to cattle markets to buy sacrificial animals.
The shuttle service will be available from 7am to 9pm and at least two shuttles will be operational for transportation of people to each cell of the cattle market.
Meanwhile, the authorities have been directed to ensure immediate provision of vehicles for the shuttle service in different cities of Punjab.
In Lahore, the starting point for Turkey Road Lakhodair cattle market is Shalimar Chowk, while the starting point for LDA City, Defence Road cattle market, fruit and vegetable market Kahna Kaccha, and interchange Kahna Kaccha cattle market is Gajjumatta.
Meanwhile, the shuttle service will also operate from Bhatta Chowk for the cattle market established near IT University, Burki Road and Paragon City, while free bus service for the cattle market on Sagian Hazrat Abu Bakr Road will start from Azadi Chowk.
The shuttle service for cattle markets will also run from Mozang Chowk for Sagian Hazrat Usman Ghani Road, while a bus will operate from Railway Station for Sports Complex, Adda Rakh Chhabeel, Manawan cattle market.
Furthermore, the bus service will start from Thokar Niaz Baig to Raiwind Road.
