Google has removed its US Dollar to Pakistani Rupee (USD to PKR) converter from its search engine and now it shows the best ranked results like any normal query.
UPDATE: Google Restores PKR Currency Converter on Search Engine
The move comes not long after Google’s converter malfunctioned on 28 July 2022 and showed the wrong exchange rate for USD to PKR.
According to the details, a glitch in the converter showed the rate of Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR) as Rs. 207.10 on 28 July 2022 instead of its correct value of Rs. 239.94.
However, Google was able to fix the glitch in a matter of hours, but the tech giant decided to remove the USD to PKR converter from its search engine altogether.
It is still unclear whether Google removed the USD to PKR converter from its search engine due to some other glitch or the company has temporarily removed it because of major fluctuation between Pakistani Rupee and the US Dollar.
