The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has sealed entry into the Red Zone on ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Protest that is to be held outside the office of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to the details, the Islamabad Traffic Police (IPT) has barred all traffic from entering the Red Zone, while adding that any kind of protest or gathering will not be allowed in the area.
The Islamabad Police added that Government employees, media, and citizens appearing in courts should use Margallah Road as an alternative route, while Third Road will be used to enter the diplomatic encalve.
The police added that law violators will be dealt with in a strict manner.

It is pertinent to mention that the Government had reportedly closed of Islamabad D-Chowk by placing containers to prevent PTI form holding their protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office on Thursday.
Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced to hold a protest outside the office of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and demand the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Sikandar Sultan Raja.
“PTI will hold a peaceful protest out ECP office on Thursday against the conduct of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikander Sultan Raja,” said Imran Khan while addressing the meeting of the party’s National Council on Thursday.
