Earlier today, a Metro Bus caught fire at the Rehmanabad Metro Bus Station in Rawalpindi. According to the details, the engine of the Metro Bus had allegedly overheated and burst into flames and engulfed the entire bus.
However, there was no reported loss of life and all passengers were able to escape from the burning vehicle.

The incident took place at the Rehmanabad Metro Bus Station on Murree Road in Rawalpindi and the administration is still trying to determine other causes of the incident.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Mass Transit Authority (PMTA) has suspended Metro Bus Service on Murree Road. However, the service will remain operational from IJP Station to the Islamabad Secretariat Station and Faiz Ahmed Faiz Bus Station to Islamabad International Airport.
