Motorola has finally launched its next iteration of its highly anticipated foldable smartphone – the Moto Razr 2022, which will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 with its flagship specifications, improved display, and dual camera setup.

The Motorola Razr 2022 offers a 6.7-inch display, which is the same as its predecessor, but the new OLED panel is equipped with a better hinge that bends in a pear shape to close completely when folded. Furthermore, the display supports HDR10+ and comes with 144Hz refresh rate.

Meanwhile, the camera setup includes a 32MP selfie shooter on the front with a punch-hole cutout, while the main camera is equipped with a 50MP 1/1.55″ sensor and OIS that is identical to what is used on the Edge 30 Pro and S30 Pro. Moreover, the secondary camera is a 13MP ultrawide-angle shooter with 121 degrees of FOV.
As for the internals, the Motorola Razr 2022 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is a major step up from the 7xx series of chipsets used in the previous Moto Razr devices. Furthermore, the smartphone runs Android 13 on top of the MyUI 4.0 skin with some redesigned apps to work on the outer screen as well.
The smartphone comes in three variants, including 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/512GB.

The phone also offers a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, and a proper DC dimming.
Meanwhile, the price of the Moto Razr 2022 is CNY5,999 ($890) for an 8/128 GB variant, CNY6,499 ($965) for 8/256 GB, and CNY7,299 ($1,085) for 12/512GB.
