Pakistan has qualified for the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh in Adelaide by five wickets and successfully chasing a target of 128 runs with 11 balls to spare.
Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam had a slow start and managed only 57 runs in 10.3 overs, however, Pakistan managed to get the score rolling after the two openers left the pitch.
Mohammad Haris managed to score 31 off just 18 balls, while Shan Masood also chipped in with 24 off 14 balls and helped Pakistan towards victory against Bangladesh.
Earlier, Bangladesh had set a target of 128 runs for Pakistan in the crucial T20 World Cup 2022 match, which was the determining factor for Pakistan’s qualification to the semi final.

This brings an end to the Super 12 stage of the tournament with New Zealand and England qualifying for the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals from Group 1, while India and Pakistan qualify from Group 2.
Pakistan will now face New Zealand in the first T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final scheduled to take place on Wednesday (9 November 2022), while India will play against England the next day (Thursday, 10 November 2022) and both matches will determine which two means get to the final taking place on 13 November 2022.
