Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, on Tuesday, announced that Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged for the remainder of the month (16 November 2022 to 30 November 2022) despite reports of a minor increase in the Price of Petrol and alongside a massive hike in the rate of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) due to increase in Levy.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan will remain unchanged at Rs. 224.80 per litre for the second half of October 2022 and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price in Pakistan will also remain unchanged at Rs. 235.30 per litre. Likewise, the Price of Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will be maintained at Rs. 191.83 and Rs. 186.50 per litre, respectively.

The Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged from 16 November 2022 for the remainder of the month till 30 November 2022.
Earlier, it was reported that Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged and no relief is would be provided to the people since global prices of crude and petroleum products do not leave any room for the government to reduce the prices of these commodities.
Furthermore, the Government also charges a Petroleum Levy of Rs. 50 per litre on Petrol and Rs. 12 on Diesel, which is to be increased to Rs. 50 as per the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before the restoration of the loan programme.
However, the Government has refrained from hiking the Price of Petroleum Products for the next fortnight.
