The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that fog is likely to develop over a few places in plain areas of Punjab during early morning hours.
Meanwhile, the weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
During the last 24 hours, rain-wind/thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills occurred in Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Balochistan.
However, dry weather prevailed over other areas of the country.
Temperatures recorded in some major cities this morning included 10°C in Islamabad, 13°C in Lahore, 20°C in Karachi, 11°C in Peshawar, 1°C in Quetta, 7°C in Gilgit-Baltistan, 3°C in Murree, and 6°C in Muzaffarabad.
