The City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore on Tuesday rolled out the Digital E-Challan System for Lahore’s Mall Road, which is going to replace the manual challan books at one of busiest roads in the metropolis.
According to the details, the Lahore Traffic Police has replaced the manual challan books with Digital Challan System in order to keep complete records with the aim of checking discrepancies in the challan issuance system.
E-Challan System has a Payment Slip Identification (PSID) code that is linked to an online system and the violator will immediately receive a challan message from 8070.

Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) in collaboration with the City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore introduced E-Challans back in 2018, under which fines were issued to addressed registered against vehicle IDs. the system is now being expanded and Digital E-Challan System will replace manual challan books throughout the provincial capital starting with Lahore’s Mall Road.
