Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, on Saturday, announced that Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged for the next fortnight (1 January 2023 to 15 January 2023). According to the Federal Minister, the Price of Petroleum Products, including Petrol, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), and Kerosene Oil will not be changed for the first half of January 2023.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan will remain unchanged at Rs. 214.80 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will also be retained at Rs. 227.80 per litre for the first half of January 2023. Likewise, the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will also be maintained at Rs. 171.83 and Rs. 169.00 per litre, respectively.

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged from 1 January 2023 for the for the first half of the month and next fortnight till 15 January 2023.

“Govt of Pakistan has decided to keep the existing prices of petroleum products unchanged with effect from 1st January to 15th January 2023 to provide relief to the common man, despite increase in the prices of these products in the international markets,” said the Finance Minister on Twitter.
It is pertinent to mention that Shehbaz Sharif-led Government had reduced the Petrol Price in Pakistan by Rs. 10.00 per litre to Rs. 214.80 per litre, while High-Speed (HSD) Diesel Price was reduced by Rs. 7.50 per litre to Rs. 227.80 per litre during the last fortnight.
