Lahore Extends Business Hours for Restaurants and Hotels

Lahore District Administration has extended the business hours for restaurants and hotels operating within the city’s jurisdictions.

The announcement was made in a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore. “All restaurants, coffee shops, café and other eateries etc. shall be allowed to operate till 11:00 pm throughout the week.” stated the notification.

It added that restaurants and eateries in Lahore will be allowed to carry out home delivery services till 12:30 pm.

It is pertinent to mention that the provincial government had placed a restriction on restaurants and hotels to close by 10:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 11:00 pm on the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

However, the restaurants and eateries had criticized the decision so the Lahore Administration had revised the business hours for them.
