Sindh Promotes Students Without Exams

The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD) has announced that students of Class 1 to 3 will be promoted to next grades without their annual exams along with other decision related to examinations and the next academic session.

According to the details, the decisions were made by the steering committee of the Education and Literacy Department of Sindh on 22^nd February 2022 and its sub-committee on 12^th December 2022.

The circular issued by the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD) also stated that examination for Class 4 to 8 will be held after Eid-ul-Fitr and will conclude by 6^th May 2023.

Moreover, the new academic session for the schools in Sindh province will start from 1^st August 2023.

The notification added that “if any school violates the aforesaid decisions of the steering committees, action will be taken against these defaulters as per Section 8 (Cancellation or Suspension of Certificate of Registration) of “The Sindh Private Educational Institutions “The Sindh Private Educational Institutions (Regulation and Control) Ordinance 2001 (Amended) Act-2003 and Rules 2005.”
