Aima Baig to Sing National Anthem at PSL 8 Opening Ceremony

Pakistani singer, Aima Baig, will reportedly sing the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL 8) tournament that is scheduled to commence from 13th February 2023 in Multan.

Aima Baig’s performance of the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the PSL 2023 will be followed by the a live performance of the official PSL 8 2023 anthem by star-studded lineup that includes Shae Gill, Asim Azhar, Abdullah Siddiqui, and Faris Shafi.

It is pertinent to mention that a rehearsal performance of the PSL 8 anthem was leaked on social media and quickly became one of the trending topics Twitter as fans are super-excited for the most-awaited song of the year.

“Singing our beloved National Anthem on a massive platform such as PSL is both humbling and challenging; the latter in the sense that you are surrounded by thousands of fans in the stadium and watched by millions of users on screen – and everybody is super attentive because it’s the National Anthem.” Aima Baig said in a statement.

“That is a whole different pressure, and I can’t imagine messing it up.” she added.
