Today’s Pakistan Super League (PSL 8 2023) Match 9 between Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi took place at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Pakistan. Peshawar Zalmi won today’s match by wickets with 9 balls remaining.

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl first, which was the right decision as they were able to restrict Quetta Gladiators to just 154 runs.

Quetta Gladiators had a rough start with Jason Roy and Martin Guptill being dismissed for just 14 and 12 runs, respectively. However, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed managed to keep their team in the game by scoring 39 and 50 runs, respectively.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Nawaz was dismissed for just 2 runs, while Odean Smit managed to add 25 runs from just 12 balls.

Peshawar Zalmi also had a terrible start to their batting with loss of early wickets as nobody managed to score over 20 runs until Rovman Powell and James Neesham, who turned the game around after scoring 36 and 37 runs, respectively.

Meanwhile, Dasun Shanaka and Wahab Riaz guided the team to victory as both of them scored 16 and 10 runs, respectively.
