The Federal Government has announced a reduction in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 1 March 2023 till 15 March 2023. According to the notification, the Price of Petroleum Products, including Petrol, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), and Kerosene Oil has been reduced for the half of the month and the next fortnight.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been reduced by Rs. 5.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been maintained at the previous rate for the first half of March 2023. Likewise, the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has also been reduced by Rs. 15.00 and Rs. 12.00 per litre, respectively.
This brings the new Petrol Price in Pakistan at Rs. 267.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will remain at Rs. 280.00 per litre. Meanwhile, the new Price of Kerosene Oil will be Rs. 187.73 per litre and Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been slashed to Rs. 184.68 per litre.

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will become effective from midnight 1 March 2023 for the for the first half of the month.
The announcement was made by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Twitter.

March 1 to 15 , 2023:
High Speed Diesel- with No change Rs 280 per litre
MS Petrol —with Rs 5 reduction,Rs 267 per litre
Kerosene Oil – with Rs 15 reduction, Rs 187.73 per litre
Light Diesel Oil -with Rs 12 reduction, Rs 184.68 per litre
In a notification issued by the Finance Division, it stated, “Government of Pakistan has decided to revise the existing prices of petroleum products.”

In the last review, the Federal Government had raised the Price of Petrol and Diesel in Pakistan by Rs. 22.20 and Rs. 17.20 per litre, respectively. Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) was increased by Rs. 12.90 and 9.68 per litre, respectively.
