Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the air fares for Hajj 2023 pilgrimage. According to the national carrier, the pre-Hajj operations will commence from May 21st to June 22nd (subject to the sighting of moon).
The national flag carrier will operate Boeing-777 and Airbus A-320 for flights to Jeddah and Medinah during the Hajj operations. Like the previous years, PIA has decided to charge airfare in US Dollars from the pilgrims going to Saudi Arabia under the private Hajj scheme.
According to the PIA, the fare for pilgrims going for Hajj 2023 has been fixed from $870 to $1,180 depending on the departure destination. However, it must be noted that these airfares are applicable for pilgrims from the southern region of Pakistan, including Karachi, Quetta, Sukkur, and Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the fare for Hajj pilgrims from the northern region of the country, which includes Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, and other cities, will be from $910 to $1,220. Furthermore, the Ministry of Hajj will announce airfares for pilgrims going under the official Hajj qouta.
