Peugeot 2008 Price in Pakistan Raised to Account For 25% GST

Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has increased the price of Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan to account for the increase in the General Sales Tax (GST) from 18% to 25%. This new price hike for Peugeot 2008 comes just a few days after the company raised prices to to account for hike in the GST from 17% to 18%.

According to the company’s social media handle, the price of Peugeot 2008 Active in Pakistan is now Rs. 6,840,000 after being raised by Rs. 390,000 from the old price of Rs. 6,450,000.

Similarly, the price of Peugeot 2008 Allure is now Rs. 7,580,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 7,150,000 after a hike of Rs. 430,000.

The new price of Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan has gone into effective immediately and it is applicable on all new bookings.

It is pertinent to mention that automotive manufacturers are now increasing their prices several times a month citing economic condition as the main reason behind their decision.

Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has also announced a hike in prices for its cars to account for the increased GST implemented by the Federal Government to meet the demands of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
