In a horrible incident, the 16-storey Portway Trade Center building at Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi has caught fire with several fire tenders at work trying to control the blaze and keep it from spreading to surrounding structures.
According to the details, the fire engulfed the entire Portway Trade Center building that is located near Nursery at Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi and adjacent to the PSO Petrol Pump.
There are reports of a security guard being injured after he jumped from the first floor in order to escape the fire and taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, rescue services, fire fighters, and rangers are present on the scene and the road leading up to the building has been closed for traffic.
The fire fighters have called in more units and declared the fire to be of ‘Third Degree’ with a large portion of the building still burning out of control. However, there is reportedly no loss of life as the Portway Trade Center comprised of offices that were closed at the time it caught fire.
UPDATE: The fire fighters have controlled the majority of the fire while trying to get a handle on the remaining building.
Meanwhile, all social media outlets are trending with the news of the fire at the Portway Trade Center building located at Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi with residents and passersby sharing pictures and videos of the flames.

Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has also taken notice of the incident and called for a report, while ordering a detailed investigation to find the cause of the fire.
