Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan – 16 March 2023

The Federal Government has announced an increase in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 March 2023 till 31 March 2023. According to the notification, the Price of Petroleum Products, including Petrol, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), and Kerosene Oil have been increased or the second half of the month and the next fortnight.

According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 5.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been hiked by Rs. 13.00 per litre for the second half of March 2023. Likewise, the Price of Kerosene Oil has been raised by Rs. 2.56 per litre. However, the Government has kept the Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) unchanged.

This brings the new Petrol Price in Pakistan at Rs. 272.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is now Rs. 293.00 per litre. Meanwhile, the new Price of Kerosene Oil will be Rs. 190.29 per litre and Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) remains at the previous rate of Rs. 184.68 per litre.

Petrol Prices in Pakistan From 16 March 2023

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will become effective from midnight 16 March 2023 for the for the second half of the month.

“In the last fortnight, Platts Singapore prices registered an increase. This along with a depreciation of Pak Rupee has resulted in an increase of POL products in Pakistan.” said the notification.

In the last review, the Federal Government had reduced the Price of Petrol in Pakistan by Rs. 5 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) was maintained. Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) was reduced by Rs. 15.00 and 12.00 per litre, respectively.
