The earthquake tremors were felt around 9.52 pm in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and several other cities.
Earthquake was also reported in Peshawar, Swabi, Lodhran, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Skardu, Kohat, Toba Tek Singh, Parachinar, Nowshera, and Khanewal.
According to the details, the earthquake was earlier reported at 7.7 magnitude on the Richter scale with epicenter Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan.
However, the US Geological Survey (USGS) has reported the earthquake at 6.5 magnitude.
The earthquake did not just hit Pakistan and its cities, but it jolted several other countries in the region as well, including Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan
There are reports of several injuries in earthquake-related incidents in Pakistan, while one death has been reported after a roof fell on a woman in Lower Dir.
Meanwhile, there have been cracks reported in buildings across cities where earthquake tremors were felt, including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and others.
Authorities have advised tourists and locals to remain calm and avoid panic.

Last month, two earthquakes jolted the twin cities and surrounding areas.
