Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on introducing a multi-account feature that will allow users to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.
According to WABetaInfo, the new multi-account feature is available to users on the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.13.5.
The new multi-account feature will allow users to switch between multiple accounts on the same smartphone, which is going to make it a lot easier for people managing different business or personal accounts.
This will eliminate the need to use third-party cloning apps or modded WhatsApp applications like GBWhatsApp. However, there are reports suggesting that multi-account feature will be released exclusively for WhatsApp Business.
Furthermore, it is unclear when and if the feature will be rolled out to regular WhatsApp users as it is still in the testing phase and the company is known to scrap entire feature before they make it to the stable version.
