Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief, Siraj-ul-Haq, has strongly condemned the hike in petroleum prices by the caretaker government and announced nationwide protests across all four provinces.
In a video message on Twitter, JI chief stated that the government has made life extremely difficult for the common man by following the directions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has been protesting against the brutal hike in electricity prices and JI chief, Siraj-ul-Haq, has announced that protests will be held across the nation in all four provinces to force the government to reduce price of petroleum products.

He urged people to come and join Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in protest outside all four governor houses.
It is pertinent to mention that caretaker Government has increase the price of petrol by Rs. 26.02 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been jacked up by Rs. 17.34 per litre.
This brings the new Petrol Price at Rs. 331.38 per litre and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will now cost Rs. 329.18 per litre.
