SBP Announces Bank Holiday on September 29

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a bank holiday on 29 September 2023 (Friday) on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1445 A.H.).

“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on September 29, 2023 (Friday) being a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1445 A.H.).” the central said in a notification.

Meanwhile, all commercial banks will also remain closed on September 29 in light of the public holiday.
