The Government has allowed Fly Jinnah, a relatively low-cost carrier owned and operated by Lakson Group and Air Arabia Group of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to operate international flights.
According to the caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, Fly Jinnah has been granted approval to operate flights on international routes by the Federal Cabinet on the recommendation of the Aviation Ministry.
Fly Jinnah’s international destination may include Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait) and possibly Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Malaysia, Thailand, and Turkiye.
Currently, Fly Jinnah operates flights on domestic routes that include major cities across Pakistan like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Furthermore, the carrier has an impressive on-time departure rate of 87.93%, which is the highest compared to other airlines.
