Lahore Traffic Plan for Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema 2023

The first phase Tablighi Ijtema 2023 at Raiwind Phase One has kicked off today and will continue until 5 November 2023 and the authorities have shared a detailed Lahore Traffic Plan to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles during Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema 2023.

Meanwhile, the second phase of the gathering is set to continue from November 9th to November 12th.

ASP President Sahi Fazal will be responsible for all arrangements to ensure that security and traffic protocols are strictly followed by everyone taking part in the Tablighi Ijtema as well as commuters.

The authorities have allocated 110 patrolling officers and 999 wardens to ensure adherence of rules and regulations with City Traffic Officer (CTO) mainly focusing on eliminating illegal parking.

Meanwhile, the authorities have set up special control room and camp office for monitoring and surveillance in Raiwind.

Furthermore, the authorities have designated seven stands for parking of participant vehicles with strict instructions from the CTO that parking is to be allowed only at these spots with a complete ban on parking anywhere else on Raiwind.

However, to facilitate emergency vehicles, all roads have been kept clear for ambulances and other emergency vehicles. The CTO has instructed wardens to remain vigilant for traffic related matters as well as suspicious activity.

Lahore Traffic Plan for Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema 2023

According to the Lahore’s Raiwind Traffic Plan, the participants coming from GT Road will be directed towards Kala Shah Kaku and those from Rawalpindi and Islamabad will reach Raiwind via the Motorway.

Meanwhile, anyone coming from Okara will use Manga Bypass to access the Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema.

Furthermore, in order to ensure seamless traffic flow, specific roads like Khawaja Road and Sander Road have been reserved for emergency vehicles and strict directives have been given to ensure no vehicles approach Raiwind from Shahdara Chowk, Sagian Pull, or any closed roads.

The authorities have advised participants coming from other provinces to use the Motorway and Lahore Ring Road to reach the gathering.
