How to Apply for UAE Family Visit Visa?

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) now offers a family group tourist or visit visa, which is completely free for children.

According to the details, all children below the age of 18 years can obtain a free visit visa while their parents or family pays the usual charges.

If you are planning on visiting the UAE, a family visit visa may be the most cost effective option as it eliminates the visa fee for children under the age of 18 years.

It bears mentioning that free visa is also valid for children traveling with just one parent and the UAE family visa will hold a validity of 30 or 60 day, which can be extended to a maximum of 120 days after arriving in the country.

How to Apply for UAE Family Visit Visa

• Family needs to provide copies of their passports and photos to a travel agency.
• Pay the fees (except children under 18 years).
• Pay the travel agent service charge and insurance fees that apply.
• Let the agency process the application.
• The visa is usually issued in a day or two.

Visa Cost

• The cost of visa for parents along with any service charges will depend on the travel agency.
• 30-day visa for parent ranges from Dhs350 to Dhs500.
• A small service charge and insurance for children usually costs between Dhs80 and Dhs120.
• Meanwhile, a 60-day visa will cost Dhs500 to Dhs650.
• The 60-day visa will incur service and insurance charge ranging from Dhs130 to Dhs170.

Requirements

As stated above, you will require copy of the passport and passport-sized photograph.

Extension

The UAE family visit visa can be extended without having to leave the country, however, a full visa fee has to be paid for children for the extension.
