Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, known for his controversial and widely criticized views on women, recently stirred up further controversy by expressing regressive opinions about men in a viral interview clip.
The writer is no stranger to controversy and stay’s in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
His track record of displaying what many consider as ‘disrespectful’ treatment towards both genders, is evident in incidents such as his clash with Marvi Sirmed and critical remarks about Mahira Khan, and more recently, his harsh comments on Saba Qamar’s dressing, raises concerns about a ‘lack of’ maturity in handling diverse opinions.
In the interview, he asserted, “Men are inherently designed to be worse than women; you cannot change him under any circumstances. It is a man’s instinct [to cheat].” Furthermore, he suggested that women should stick with cheating men because there is supposedly “no one better” for them.
One reader commented on his remarks, saying, “If a man can’t even show basic respect to his own gender, there’s little hope for how he treats women.” Another reader pointed out that Qamar seems to believe that men inherently lack modesty or humility, implying they need to be trained by women as if they were recalcitrant children.
His remarks have caused a stir on social media with divided opinions on the matter.
