Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis, Jawad Sohrab Malik, has urged Saudi firm, Al-Rashid Group, to hire more Pakistanis.
The development took place as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis, Jawad Sohrab Malik, convened a meeting with Rashid Saad Al-Rashid, Chairman of Al-Rashid Group in Saudi Arabia, at the company’s headquarters on Sunday.
The Chairman of Al-Rashid Group extended a warm welcome to the Pakistani delegation, comprising SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik, Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, DG of BEOE, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of OPHRD, and Embassy officers.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis also participated in the meeting, as mentioned in a news release.
Al-Rashid Group, a prominent Saudi Arabian conglomerate with several mega-projects in the kingdom, received gratitude from Jawad Sohrab Malik for employing a significant number of Pakistani workers. He specifically encouraged the Al-Rashid Group to consider hiring more Pakistani workers for their projects, emphasizing Pakistan’s full cooperation in the recruitment process. Both leaders agreed to further enhance cooperation.
SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I am pleased to have met with Chairman Al-Rashid today to discuss opportunities for further cooperation between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group. I am very grateful for the chairman’s commitment to hiring Pakistani workers and his willingness to consider further recruitment from Pakistan.”
Rashid Saad Al-Rashid affirmed the positive history of working with Pakistani companies and workers, acknowledging their contributions to their projects. He expressed the group’s commitment to continuing to hire Pakistani workers in the future and being open to exploring new areas of cooperation with Pakistan.
