In response to the directives of Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) teams took decisive action against seven illegal land subdivisions and housing schemes on Wednesday, as per The Nation.
The extensive operation targeted unauthorized residential developments, including Royal Smart City and Eagle Homes in Albek scheme along Soay Asal Raiwand Road. Additionally, the crackdown extended to Rana Park and Zaheer Villas near College Road, as well as Vital Orchard Scheme on Jaya Baga Road.
During the operation, the LDA teams demolished the sewerage systems, boundary walls, offices, and roads associated with these illegal schemes. Notably, the enforcement action also led to the sealing of the unauthorized Dream Housing Scheme extension office, which was under construction without proper approval.
The operation was executed by the Directorate of Private Housing Schemes at LDA, with active participation from the LDA Enforcement Wing and the police. This concerted effort aligns with the ongoing commitment, guided by the Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA, to vigorously tackle illegal housing schemes and land subdivisions throughout the city.
