On Sunday, Pakistan witnessed a widespread internet outage, affecting users across the country around 9:00 pm.
The disruption was not confined to a single internet service provider (ISP).
Users from various ISPs, including PTCL, Transworld, StormFiber, NayaTel, Nova Communication, Optix Pakistan, and others, reported similar issues across various websites, with a notable impact on social media platforms.
Nevertheless, certain services such as Netflix and comparable video streaming platforms like Amazon Prime remained functional.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and several other popular online platforms remain down in Pakistan as the country’s internet faces a nationwide outage.
However, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) or any internet service provider (ISP) has not announced any reason behind the internet outage.
