Chery Pakistan Reveals Plan to Launch Omoda E5 Electric Car and Jaecoo J7 PHEV

In a groundbreaking announcement last week, Chery International’s Omoda and Jaecoo brands are set to revolutionize Pakistan’s automotive landscape with the launch of new electric vehicles (EVs). In an exclusive live stream, Mr. Ryan Wang, Brand Manager of Omoda and Jaecoo, shared key details about the Omoda E5 EV and Jaecoo J7 PHEV.

Chery Omoda E5

The Omoda E5, positioned as a mainstream EV, is strategically designed to appeal to Gen-Z buyers and a younger demographic. Its distinctive styling choices and advanced features set it apart. As a response to Pakistan’s developing EV infrastructure, Omoda plans to install charging stations in major cities, ensuring a seamless charging experience for its users.

Chery Jaecoo J7 PHEV

In contrast, the Jaecoo J7 PHEV aims at the luxury market, offering a robust off-road SUV experience to high-end buyers. Notably, Omoda and Jaecoo will not be launched in collaboration with Ghandhara Automobiles, the current assembler of Chery vehicles in Pakistan. Mr. Ryan Wang revealed that a different partnership will be established for the introduction of these new models.
