Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has announced school holidays across Punjab from February 6 to 9, 2024, in light of the upcoming General Elections 2024, which are scheduled to take place on February 8, 2024.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Naqvi wrote, “In view of the upcoming general elections on 8th February, Provincial Cabinet has approved that all public and private sector schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab will be closed from Feb 6th to Feb 9th.”

9:30 am timing for schools will only be observed…
It means that Punjab is getting an entire week of school holidays as the Federal Government has already announced that schools will remain closed on Monday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
He added that all schools will continue to observe 09:30 am timings till February 3rd.
