The Xiaomi 14 Series is set to be launched globally on February 25 as announced by Xiaomi’s CEO and founder, Lei Jun, on X (formerly Twitter). Apart of the announcement of the launch date, Xiaomi’s CEO shared a poster that unveiled a distinctive camera module, giving a hint towards the smartphone’s design.
While the launch date for the Xiaomi 14 series has been confirmed, the company’s CEO did not reveal any details about the location or time for the launch, but the company will likely make another announcement in the coming days and reveal those details.

However, the absence of more details on the poster and led to speculation about a possible launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. It is pertinent to mention that Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra have already been launched in China last year.
Furthermore, there are rumors claiming that the Xiaomi Pad 7 series may be presented together with the Xiaomi 14 Series. Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is going to be launched as a standalone smartphone in this series. But official confirmation is pending.
With regard to the specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra, reported information suggests it may be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset and dual-way satellite connectivity. The camera features are likely to be a step ahead of those in the Xiaomi 14 Pro, featuring a quad-rear camera module with variable aperture and Sony LYT -900 50 MP sensor. The device could include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with the focal length going up to as much as 120mm. Other components may be a 50-megapixel IMX8 ultra wide lens and another telephoto camera of the same resolution.
