Mobile service down in Major cities on Elections day

People are complaining about mobile service down in Major cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Multan and Lodhran on the election day morning, February 8.

According to the Interior Ministry, Mobile and Internet services have been suspended across the country due to security threats.

Although Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, assured yesterday that mobile services will remain active on Election Day on February 8. The decision was taken earlier this morning to suspend the mobile service and mobile data across the country after security threats on Election Day.
