The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) affirmed that there would be no extension of the voting time for the general elections in 2024.
The commission explicitly stated that there were no considerations for extending the deadline beyond the scheduled 5:00 pm cutoff. Furthermore, the ECP clarified that unofficial and unconfirmed results could be announced at 6:00 pm.
Addressing concerns and inquiries, the electoral body disclosed that it had received a total of 55 complaints. Of these, 45 complaints had already been successfully resolved, while efforts were underway to address the remaining 10.
