Realme will expand its product range with the launch of Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus, following the launch of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. The Realme 12 Plus would be launched in Malaysia on 29th February and it is expected to launch in China soon, however, the launch date is still unknown.
Before its official launching, Realme 12 Plus, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed details of the smartphones. The phone will come with a unique design with a flat frame and a distinct camera module that stands out. It will be offered in two colors, beige and green, and some versions will even have a faux leather back. The device will boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 and refresh rate of 120Hz.
On the camera side, it is going to be equipped with a triple rear camera setup, with the 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor having OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, the Realme 12 Plus will have a 16MP front camera. The device will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging. The phone will run on the Realme UI 5.0 which is based on Android 14, and it will be 163 x 75.5 x 7.9 mm in dimension with a weight of 190g.
