The district administration has declared a public holiday in Jamshoro on February 29th, marking the commencement of the three-day annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, which date back 772 years.
Scheduled to start on February 29th, the Urs festivities will extend across three days, showcasing a diverse array of events and cultural activities.
Among the highlights of the Urs ceremonies are a literary conference, traditional Sindhi wrestling (Malakhro), and enchanting recitals of Sufi music, all designed to engage and captivate attendees, offering both cultural enrichment and spiritual nourishment.

To support devotees and accommodate shrine guests, facilitation camps have been set up in Sehwan, providing essential amenities and services.
