Honor has launched the Magic6 Pro globally, alongside the Honor Magic V2 RSR, marking its debut outside China. The Magic6 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 180MP periscope camera, retaining the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. As a flagship device, it boasts premium features and specifications.
The Honor Magic6 Pro sports a flat frame design with a circular camera module and is IP68-certified for dust and water resistance. It features an in-screen fingerprint scanner and NanoCrystal Shield for enhanced durability, claimed to be 10 times more drop-resistant.
The device sports a 6.80-inch curved AMOLED display with a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera, known as the Magic Capsule. It offers FHD+ resolution, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, with Dolby Vision and HDR Vision certification.
In terms of photography, the Magic6 Pro houses a triple camera setup, including a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 50MP Ultra HD primary sensor with self-adjusting aperture, and a groundbreaking 180MP periscope lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and equipped with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the device features an Honor C1+ RF enhancement chip and an Honor S1 discrete security chip. It is fueled by a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging support, running on MagicOS 8.0.
Available in Glacier White, Lake Blue, Epi Green, Cloud Purple, and Black color options, the Honor Magic6 Pro is priced at EUR 1,299, with pre-orders starting immediately and availability from March 1. Additionally, a variant named the Magic 6 Pro RSR will be announced next month in collaboration with Porsche Design.
