Tecno has unveiled several innovative products at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona like the Pocket Go handheld console and POVA 6 Pro. Among these reveals is the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G smartphone, succeeding the Camon 20 Premier 5G.
The Camon 30 Premier 5G features a flat frame and a faux leather-textured back panel with a distinctive folder icon design. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor and a 70mm portrait periscope lens, enabling up to 60x hybrid zoom. For selfies, it boasts a 50MP front-facing camera with eye-tracking technology.
Tecno highlights the Camon 30 Premier 5G as the first phone with its PolarAce Imaging system, powered by the Sony Imaging Chip CXD5622GG, offering various AI imaging advancements and industry-leading 4K 30fps HDR video recording.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premiere 5G boasts a center-aligned punch-hole display with 1.5K resolution, an LTPO screen with 1 billion colors, and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Internally, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor paired with the Sony Imaging chip.
While specific details remain undisclosed, Tecno plans to release the Camon 30 Premier 5G in the second quarter of the year, likely between April and June.
