Samsung’s Galaxy Ring has been a popular topic lately, especially since its announcement at last month’s event. CNET has revealed more details about the device after trying it at MWC 2024 and shared some information about its sizes, battery capacities, and compatibility.
According to CNET, the Samsung Galaxy Ring comes in different sizes, with the smallest one weighing 2.3 grams and the largest weighing 2.9 grams. This makes it much lighter compared to other similar devices like the Oura ring, which weighs between four to six grams.
Samsung revealed that the smallest prototype of the Galaxy Ring has a battery capacity of 14.5mAh, while larger models have a 21.5 mAh battery. The company has previously stated that the Samsung Galaxy Ring could offer up to 9 days of battery life. Additionally, Samsung’s VP and Head of Digital Health, Hon Park, mentioned that wearing the Ring alongside the Galaxy Watch could provide better results. Furthermore, the device will be compatible with Galaxy phones and the company is working to provide compatibility with other Android phones. However, it will not work with iOS.
