The Infinix Note 40 series has been unveiled in Malaysia, featuring four variants: standard, pro, pro 5G, and pro+ 5G. These devices succeed the Note 30 and Note 30 Pro from 2022, boasting a unified design with a Halo AI lightning effect across all models.
The standard and pro models of the Infinix Note 40 series sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the standard variant has a flat screen, the pro variant features curved edges. Both devices include an in-display fingerprint scanner and have a flat frame design with a square camera module on the rear panel, housing three sensors and an ‘Active Halo’ LED that changes based on various notifications and indicators.
In terms of camera specifications, the standard variant boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 108MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary unit, and an AI lens. On the other hand, the Note 40 Pro shares the same primary sensor but adds support for OIS. Additionally, it includes a 2MP secondary camera and a 2MP lens. Both phones feature a 32MP selfie camera.
Powered by a Helio G99 Ultimate processor, both the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro 4G come with 8GB RAM, expandable up to 16GB, and 256GB onboard storage. They are backed by a 5,000mAh battery, with the standard variant supporting 45W charging and the pro model offering up to 70W charging. Both devices support 20W wireless charging.
The Infinix Note 40 starts at $199, while the Note 40 Pro 4G starts at $259 for base configurations, with prices varying by region. Global availability of the phones is set to commence on March 19th, catering to users worldwide.
