The Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema, has announced a local public holiday on March 21 and 22 (Thursday and Friday) on account of the Pakistan Day parade on March 23, 2024.
However, the notification added that the local public holiday in Rawalpindi will not affect the SSC 1 Annual Examination BISE Rawalpindi.

Meanwhile, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has closed all hiking trails in Islamabad due to security reasons for the Pakistan Day parade.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a detailed traffic plan for March 23 (Pakistan Day) parade with alternate routes to avoid any inconvenience. Furthermore, the entry of heavy vehicles has been restricted at certain times of the day in Islamabad.
