Xiaomi recently hosted a launch event in China where it introduced its latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, alongside software updates for the Xiaomi 14 series and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
The upcoming software updates for the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, set to roll out in April, will bring the “Master Portrait” feature. This feature, first seen on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, utilizes the Xiaomi Portrait LM AI model to enhance portraits, offering functions like AI wrinkle removal and skin tone evening. Additionally, it supports high-resolution recording and 4K 60fps continuous zoom and full-range 8K 30fps video recording.
In June, both the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 series will receive the Xiaomi AISP (Xiaomi AI Image Semantic Processor). This platform, integrating CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP capabilities, enables features like ULTRA RAW super negative for high color depth and dynamic range. AISP also introduces ULTRA SNAP that can capture 150 photos using advanced algorithms.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro boasts a Leica triple camera system and a Light Fusion 800 sensor. Leveraging Xiaomi AISP (Imaging Brain 3.0), the device promises improved computing power for faster continuous shooting. Its AI GAN beauty algorithm enhances natural-looking beauty effects tailored to individual facial features. Additionally, the smartphone offers flagship-level video features that support 4K 60fps recording with HDR, autofocus, and beauty mode.
