The Benazir Kafalat Program, which was formerly operating as the Ehsaas Kafalat Program under Khan’s government, has rolled out its quarterly cash payments of Rs. 10,500 to deserving households included in its list of beneficiaries.
The Benazir Kafalat Program is in the process of disbursing funds for the first quarter of 2024 from January to March, which is going to provide a lot of relief to the beneficiaries during the month of Ramadan and help to tackle the extremely high rate of inflation in the country.
Established in 2008, the Benazir Income Support Program helps the poor segment and deserving individuals by providing aid in the form of monthly or quarterly stipends as well as other welfare programmes focusing on healthcare and education.
According to the statistics regularly shared by the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), it provides financial assistance to more than 9 million households across the country.
BISP Kafalat Program Payments for Ramadan 2024
The BISP has started rolling out Rs. 10,500 payments under the Kafalat Program for the first quarter of 2024 from January to March. Furthermore, these payments are being made across the country, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
These payments will help several individuals reduce their financial strain during the month of Ramadan 2024, when the market witnesses a jump in inflation. In order to help the deserving people of this country, the government has also raised the quarterly stipend from Rs. 8,500 to Rs. 10,500.
BISP Kafalat Program Payment Check
Anyone included in the BISP’s list of beneficiaries for ongoing payments will receive an SMS on their registered contact number. In order to receive the money, the beneficiary will have to visit the nearest branch of the partner bank like HBL of BAFL with their original CNC for biometric verification.
BISP Kafalat Program will immensely help the people during Ramadan 2024 by providing financial support.
